Taquan Wilson

Taquan Wilson is a prospective senior majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience at Hunter college. He is a passionate student leader with a strong focus on understanding the neural mechanisms of human physiology and the role they play in determining health outcomes. Taquan is currently a research assistant for the Anxiety & Mood program within the Child Outpatient Psychiatry Division connected to Montefiore Health system. While engaging and assisting physicians in providing the most optimal care, Taquan also makes time to support students seeking to further develop their knowledge and understanding about the field of health.
He is currently the administrative coordinator for the Bronx Mental Health Leaders, a student driven program whose mission is to diversify the mental health workforce through educational development, community service, and mentorship alongside professionals. Through his experiences and continued work within the field of health Taquan seeks to bring his knowledge and expertise to the PrIMES program.
