Gbadeoluwa Adedigba

Gbadeoluwa Adedigba is a second year undergraduate student majoring in Polymer Science and Engineering with a minor in Chemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a second generation student from Nigeria with the dream of becoming a neurosurgeon and neuroscientist. He currently does research in the field of nanocarbons and upcycling of waste polymers and splits his time doing research in a computer networking lab. Outside of the lab, he keeps himself busy with leadership roles in Student Government, Pre-health Society, and Student Alumni Association. He is also passionate about teaching chemistry as a learning assistant and working as a resident assistant on campus. He hopes to pass what he has learned about the medical school application process to others who aspire to also go into the field of medicine.
